Recently, the "National Researchers' Meeting and Project Launch Event for Phase III Clinical Trial (CTR20261984) on Bismuth-Based Quadruple Therapy with Antrazole Sodium Enteric-Coated Tablets for Helicobacter pylori Eradication," sponsored by our company, was successfully held online. The event brought together over 100 participants, including leading experts in gastroenterology nationwide, principal investigators from various clinical research centers, institutional representatives, core project team members, and partners such as SMOs. Antrazole Sodium Enteric-Coated Tablets are a domestically developed Class 1 new drug independently researched and developed by Xuanzhu Biotech over a decade, which received approval for market launch from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in June 2023 for the treatment of duodenal ulcers. Antrazole sodium is metabolized through multiple enzymes, with CYP2C19 contributing only 3.5% of its metabolism, resulting in low risk of drug interactions when used concomitantly; its innovative molecular structure enables balanced excretion via both intestinal and renal pathways, reducing renal burden. In 2026, it was recommended as the preferred long-term acid-suppressing agent for elderly patients in the "China Expert Consensus on Rational Use of Acid Suppressants in the Elderly (2026 Edition)" issued by the Chinese Medical Association.
